Single kit of spare tools and accessories is used for keeping an aircraft system or ground unit in a good working condition within a preset time equal to an aircraft system or ground unit serviceable life (or lifetime) with desired MTBF at lowest consumption of time resources and costs.

Group kit of spare tools and accessories is used for groups of single type equipment and is available at warehouses or storage base, and intended for equipment emergency repair with unit replacement method, replenishment of single kits, and for providing items which are missed in a single kit.

Repair kit of spare tools and accessories is intended for one depot repair of an aircraft system or ground unit. This kit is composed in accordance with operating experience and actual service time of avionics equipment. This kit is available at warehouses, storage bases and repair shops.
